Xrefed block displays large cross over itself

Hello everyone. Got myself a problem again. I referenced a topo plan (quite a bad quality one) and in the new drawing the tree blocks show up a large cross over them, If I zoom in close to them and regen the drawing they become smaller, but in the viewport that i have in the layout they still remain quite big.

 

here is a picture, the green crosses are the ones that i can't figure out.

 

 

Please help, btw I'm at home now, so I'm using civil3d 2009, but it has also happened once some time ago when i was using autocad 2008.

These crosses look like AutoCAD Points. Try going into formatting Point Style, and choose either a dot style or a nothing style, and they should go away.

Haha, thank you, that was simple, i thought it had something to do with the block entities and annotation scales, thanks for the super speedy answer and it helped 100% problem solved!!!

Alternatively set PDMODE to 0 (looks like its on 34 right now).
