manimani Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Yes you can, here is how it goes in Revit: go to File>Export>CAD Formats in the menu select your file type : AutoCAD 2007 DWG Files , Name your file : filename.DWG Click on options : Layers and Properties: customize your Layer settings if needed (i recommend keeping the default) Linetype scaling: Leave default Coordinate system basis: Leave default One DWG unit is : Choose the right units for your project Solids (3D views only): Export as ACIS solid click ok, save the file . Go to Rhino open yourfile.DWG all your the blocks such as window mullions, door frames, etc. will be saved as blocks. Materials and layers will be organized by name in layers (3D-Layer) Quote
