How to emboss objects on cylinderical object

I draw a Mineral water bottel. now i want to emboss inner or outer with some logo object on the cylinder shape.

 

I attach a bottle with some embossing.

 

Can any one help me to make it...

You can map an image as material or do an solidedit imprint and then color faces.

 

Here is an example using the Imprint and Color Faces method. Unfortunately the file is too large to attach here.

its ok but showing only one text ...but i want to write a complete text like "NESTLE" on the bottle..

Sounds challenging in AutoCAD. Is this something that can be done more easily in other software such as Inventor or Solidworks? Just curious.

Do you want it on the bottle or as a wrapper on the bottle?

This is no origin feature of AutoCAD (or BricsCAD).

I use some transformations from cartesian to cylindrical coordinate systems and it works for REVSURF-surfaces yet only.

Send me your sample file and I suppose, I can do it for you.

I know is was done long time ago, but, Could you please make a video of the process you followed to create this 'Nestle" drawing? There is a free and very simple on-screen software that you can use to create this video in http://camstudio.org/, also you can use a free trial of this very good software called camtasia (http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html).

 

I hope you have some time for to do it. This will help a lot of people asking for this kind of wrapping function in AutoCAD.
