itacad Posted Friday at 05:45 AM Posted Friday at 05:45 AM Hello, on a series of plant drawings the architectural XRIF must be replaced. This new file does not have the same filename as the previous xrif and cannot be renamed, which means having to open each individual file and perform the procedure of detaching the old xrif and calling the new one. Is there an "indirect" method that could automate this procedure? Maybe script and lisp, but I preferred to post in the general use area of Autocad. Greetings Quote
SLW210 Posted Friday at 11:15 AM Posted Friday at 11:15 AM I think LISP is the only solution other than manually doing each drawing. See if these threads are relevant... itacad Posted Saturday at 07:11 AM Author Posted Saturday at 07:11 AM Thanks, the first thread seems to be my problem, plus there's this passage that's just that little bit extra I'm looking for: ...But I need to make it as user friendly as possible... I think you've given me some great research ideas! Cheers! Quote
