Discus84 Posted Friday at 07:59 PM Posted Friday at 07:59 PM (edited) Hi, These are snips off the same drawing, left and right hand side. What are the actual dimensions in this case? Thanks! Edited Friday at 07:59 PM by Discus84 Quote
SLW210 Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Rounding errors. Each or maybe just one, is off just enough to round down to 25.025 instead of being 25.026 which is the correct total. 1 Quote
Dadgad Posted yesterday at 07:39 AM Posted yesterday at 07:39 AM I'm curious. What are your units of measure? Quote
Discus84 Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Snapping to an object I would expect this(snap points no the same). The totals snap to the dimension extensions though, not to objects in drawing. This is in inches. Quote
Dadgad Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Go into your OPTIONS, and on the Drafting tab click on IGNORE DIMENSION EXTENSION LINES. In your OSNAP Settings you may want to turn off NODE snap also. I am surprised to see that your precision is set to thousandths of an INCH. Which just makes it that much easier to experience sub microscopic issues with your dimensions. As a finish carpenter of many years in the States, and running a steel production shop in Indonesia? Might I suggest that you choose either fractions of an inch, when setting up your Dimension Style, or at least lower the Precision setting Edited 18 hours ago by Dadgad screenshot added Quote
