Drafting Teacher Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I'm still looking around to find any threads about creating 3d models for printing on 3d printers. My son has gone leaps and bounds beyond me in this. I know they use a lot of other softwares to create these, but isn't it just as well to create them in the "reigning" King of CAD, AutoCAD. Or am I missing something here? Quote
BIGAL Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) I have 3d Printed some stuff, one funny object was a pin for a Lego model it was missing, I made a Christmas ornament, it has the childs name on it. You make a solid then use STLOUT. Edited January 21 by BIGAL Quote
Drafting Teacher Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Any problems with "loose ends"? That was my sons complaint, but I would attribute that to user error, not checking before sending out the print file. Quote
