Mech Designer Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Sure thing Lee Mac. Once I am granted permission from the website, I would like to send you a pm. Cheers, Quote
moberdacker Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Lee The DCL file should be in the same post as the AutoNum LISP file Here So, uh, yeah, there it is right there. Right next to the the .lsp file. oops. works perfectly now. thanks. Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 I have updated the code for this program to Version 2.1. This version fixes the issue raised in a previous post regarding the text replacement, and also gives the user the ability to increment alphabetical text. The new code may be found here. Enjoy, Lee Quote
mdbdesign Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Lee, are you start developing icons for all programs you do? Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Lee, are you start developing icons for all programs you do? I'm not too good at developing icons... I could try I suppose... Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Hows about something like this? I wanted to try to keep it simple NumInc.zip Quote
mdbdesign Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Perfect, waiting for next (If you have time) Suggest: add it to main program page. Thanks Lee, I really appreciate. Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 A major update to this program - I have added the ability to enclose text with either a rectangle, circle or slot, with offset too. The latest version may be found here - with some additional GIFs for you all to enjoy Lee Quote
alanjt Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Nice work on this. Haven't peeped it in a while. Two things: Remove display on XRef layers for text placement. Account for non-wcs rotation. Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 Remove display on XRef layers for text placement. Nice idea - will do Account for non-wcs rotation. I thought I had accounted for non-wcs in an earlier version, but I shall definitely look into it. Thanks Alan Quote
alanjt Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I thought I had accounted for non-wcs in an earlier version, but I shall definitely look into it. When I tested it, it was ignoring the UCS for rotation. If the UCS is set, you want the angle to match. Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 When I tested it, it was ignoring the UCS for rotation. If the UCS is set, you want the angle to match. Oh right - I didn't know that (my CAD ignorance again...), I shall implement that. Thanks Quote
alanjt Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Oh right - I didn't know that (my CAD ignorance again...), I shall implement that. Thanks No sweat. UCS is generally used to emulate a zero rotation when the view has been rotated to something other than zero. As far as the XRef layers go, one can't normally put objects on those layers. It would/could create extreme confusion. Plus it's a crap load of extra layers no one wants to wade through. I don't use something like this very often, but I'm going to shelf mine and replace with yours for when I do. Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 Thanks mate, I appreciate it - I'm sure you'll agree that its a great feeling when you know that someone is making use of a program you've written. Thanks for the info Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 Following your feedback Alan, I have updated the code to Version 2.3 Quote
