jim78b
Every time I start AutoCAD for the first time by clicking not on the AutoCAD icon but on a dwg file it asks me again if it should always load the lisp files that I have set to startup. Why?
BIGAL
You need to explain more how you have set up the load on startup. Acaddoc, Appload, mnl and so on.
SLW210
Sounds like a trusted folder issue. But, like BIGAL stated, more information is needed.

SLW210
Options>Files>Trusted Paths You need to include the path to the LISP folder.

BIGAL
Trusted paths are a bit of BS in aussie terms as from a programming point of view you can add trusted paths. Its more nuisance than really providing a security check. I use Bricscad mainly and it does not have trusted paths. Makes life easier. I have a setup lisp that is used when say installing a new version it has the support paths and trusted paths pre set as well as setting lots of other stuff like adding custom mnu's.
SLW210
Typical IT philosophy, make the user jump through a few hoops and they'll think you're doing your job, despite not providing any security. IMHO, providing the mentioned dialog box to bypass said security is even worse. What's the point?
