Selecting objects by moving the view while the selection window is active

Hi, I have a dilemma...I think it's a "normal" way of working with AutoCAD, but I'm telling you in case there's a setting I don't know.

When I start a selection window, but move with the zoom and complete it where I need, I exclude from the selection the objects outside the last state of the view even if the selection window would include them.

I consider it a "has always been that way" thing, but maybe it can be set...or not?

Have you looked into the SELECTIONOFFSCREEN variable?
