Need help with modifying a Lisp routine for layer management

"I'd like to request help in modifying an existing Lisp function. I'd like to add features to copy color books and true colors, change the layer of copied objects, and set the newly created layer as the current layer. I'm using AutoCAD LT 2024 and would appreciate any assistance in achieving this. Thank you to Steven P for the initial guide. I'm grateful for any help from the community."
