itacad Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Hi, in a file, on the model space I have associated colors to the layers that allow me to make some considerations, but if I use the project ctb I get a drawing that is too colorful. So I created a layout, where I would like to use the same official ctb. On the layout, however, in the layer window, for each layer that has a strange color I have assigned the color white in the "window color" column. Is it possible to print the layout in such a way that the ctb refers to the "window colors"? Greetings Quote
BIGAL Posted September 21 Posted September 21 In a layout viewport you have VPLAYER go over to right in layer command when in a viewport, it can be a different color to the model color. yeah had one of my guys do it I pulled my hair out trying to work out what he had done a simple fix. Quote
SLW210 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I have moved your thread to the AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output Forum. Please post in the correct forum. Quote
itacad Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 I apologize, I didn't notice this dedicated section of the forum. Thanks Bigal, I was lost in a glass of water (is that a saying you also use?) Quote
itacad Posted September 25 Author Posted September 25 Good morning, I add a question regarding the use of this feature. It is very simple to change the colors on the layout of a series of layers, just select them, go to the "layout color" column and decide for all the selected layers the new color. Is there an equally fast method to do the reverse operation? that is, bring the group of layers back to the model color. Or if they have to change one by one in that case? thanks Quote

itacad Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 thanks, I didn't know this command that intrigues me, I will study it, but for my problem I found the solution, it was very simple Quote
