BIGAL Posted September 23 Posted September 23 (edited) If remember this it was written by a big Australian consulting engineers as per date 1995 Maunsell & partners, so I am not going to touch their code as it was probably "it has exited the building and we did not know". There is also single line chevrons plus I think some more, need to get my VIC Roads hand book out and look at line marking. Edited September 23 by BIGAL Quote
BIGAL Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Ok been a while and no longer have access to the road marking standards, your question is very much a "gone down the rabbit hole" there are so many constraints when it comes to doing chevrons, you have shown possibly the simplest shape. Did you find any government standards ? It gets very complex depending on scenario, look at left slip lane. You need to provide working samples and explain the spacings widths and angles. As I said you provided the simplest shape which probably does not occur in real world roads. I know what I did took into account curved sides. Quote
Ish Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 Sir, code is working perfectly for me and as per my requirement also. Only missing that 2 point, Starting interval and continuous interval. Rest is ok. What I draw above it came from this lisp. Thanks Quote
BIGAL Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Can you post some sample of chevron shapes, I know can be single solid left or right and a "V" as per image, the enclosing shape is the issue. 1 Quote
