AutoCAD and Tekla (x-steel)

Has anybody attempted to import a file that has been created using the Tekla product, x-steel? Our Steel work designers have used the Tekla product to create their 3D model of the building, though I am unsure, as are they, as to whether it can be imported to the AutoCAD platform.

I am currently using MEP 2008, with the cadduct bolt on.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure that Tekla can export to autocad format, either dwg or dxf - since I have been told that I'll soon be getting that kind of material..how to do it though.. :?
