Bill W
I might have missed something - never used the units setup command (un). I have always gone to Annotate - Dimensions, then set units and other dimension settings. What is purpose of Units command?
CyberAngel
UNITS controls the precision, distance measurement, and angle measurement for all purposes, not just dimensions. If you want to change the appearance of numeric data in your Properties window, for instance, you would set the precision with UNITS. Bill W
Thank you. I started learning drafting in 1958 and am still learning!
BIGAL
A good idea is to set your units to what you want, add layers, text & dimension styles, layout title blocks and save as a drawing template a .DWT. You can use the dwt when you start a new drawing. We would use copy and paste to original, to import an external drawing into our company dwg.
