Template file? in the search path? or the template itself?

see i want it to load automatically into each drawing that is opened, Other computers up here will do it but there is one that will not.

I was talking about in the template itself but how are they doing that: with a custom app or using a template file. ...this sounds like a missing tool or missing path kinda thing in that computers settings.

I think the other computers are using a drawing template file that already has all the necessary linetypes pre-loaded. You need to find the location of that file so you can have access to it too.

that, and make sure you aren't running a purge all in your startup.

Just to clarify... Linetypes in "acad.lin" (or any other .LIN file) are not loaded at startup, regardless if the file is in the support file search path or not.
