hetauma Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 ok let's say that I have one surface (1) and then I make another surface (2) within the first one. I make the second one a component because it's something I want to use quite few times. While editing the component (2) just a surface for now, I try to push it inside the surface (1) but that can't be done. i.e. changing the geometry of the component can't affect the geometry of the surface that it is attached to. Any ideas why? Quote
JBullseye74 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 You can push surface 2 into surface 1 before you make it into a componant then select it and make componant and tick the 'CUT OPENING' box then when you copy your componant it will always cut away surface 1.! Hope this helps let me know if it isn't clear! Quote
