(Sorry admin move to relevent place,if here aint correct, thanks)

Ive just bought a new wireless mouse and the middle wheel doesnt click in,on my old mouse i clicked the middle scroll wheel so i could moved around in model space. But with my new mouse i have to move around via using the arrows at the sides on the screen, which is very frustating and takes me more time aswell.

Any ideas?

I had the 5 button mouse previously and after a while got used to it, I am now on the 3 button (2 + clicky wheel) and would prefer to go back to the 5 button. It just takes a bit of time to get used to it.

You can also start the PAN command and move via the left mousebutton.

Return it?

And/or, what brand of mouse did you purchase?

Most come with a program allowing you to adjust and/or reassign the various buttons, or wheel response.

Make sure that your MBUTTONPAN is set correctly though...

I would have to agree with maxwell... I don't think I could bear not having my middle mouse button...

You could just get by with zooming out and zooming back in depending on the size and detail of the drawings...

MBUTTONPAN is for a mouse which has a middle button as far as I'm aware?
