Staircase not connected to Slab

Hi,

I have created a staircase in revit and I will like to know why it is disconnected to the slab both horizontally and vertically as seen in the section and 3D.  And if there is any solution to this issue. Thanks a lot in advance.

I was able to do the staircase after number of trial and error.  Actually I discovered that this situation happens many times with revit. I was able to do is using a more "manual" type of construction using creation by using sketch.  I use the three consecutive steps of boundary, riser and stairpath which appears when the "create sketch" option is selected.  There is still the issue where the last step or more precisely the waist slab of the staircase  is not nicely connected to the first floor slab.  It seemed that this is also a usual issue that happen duringstaircase construction and I am looking for solutions in youtube.  Any hints on this, please let me know.  Thanksimage.thumb.png.d56640e6eec684a7e13da117475cfc7f.png
