What's the difference between PDSIZE 0 and -5?

Recommended Posts

in help page,

PDSIZE is

0  = Creates a point at 5 percent of the drawing area height

>0 = Specifies an absolute size

<0 = Specifies a percentage of the viewport size

it said affect by height (0) and size (<0), so I tried drawing it upward and long then set 0,

but I couldn't see the difference with -5.

is it same?

Hard to tell what the issue might be. PDSIZE affects AutoCAD points, so if you're using a different type, it may not be affected. Also check the point type with PTYPE (which lets you adjust the size as well). Maybe change the point type to see if that has any effect; if not, you're dealing with something else.

When I drew an AutoCAD point and adjusted the PDSIZE variable, it did what it should have.
