grasshopper Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 sorry if this is a stoopid question, but could the size of my processor slow down my my computer while I'm drawing, I'm using autoCAD 2008 and my Library of Traffic Control Plans has gotten huge in the past year or so and my computer is starting to really suck... I think, at one point I thought it was just certain file but after many test.... I guess not. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It will be easier for us to help if you tell us your computer specs. Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements? Quote
grasshopper Posted March 24, 2009 Author Posted March 24, 2009 Now I'm going to sound more stoopid..... what are the minimum system requirements? here are my specs: Lenovo Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 @ 1.80GHz 1.79 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM sorry I'm not the most computer savvy, and my IT guy never seems to think that anything is wrong.... Cad64 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Autocad 2008 Minimum System Requirements Looks like you're a little light in the processor department. The recommendation calls for a minimum 2.2Ghz processor. And if you're doing 3D work, they recommend a minimum 3.0Ghz processor. Quote
