Emboss 2014 Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Can this Laptop run 3D AutoCAD? I compared the computer specs from Autodesk. The processor and graphics and RAM size should be enough. Auto desk required 64Bit window 11. This one said pro 64 which I assumed it’s ok? My worry is The graphics card on this one is Intel iris Xe graphic which I read on Autodesk website it might crash or freeze. I hope I can try if it doesn’t work then return if no restocking fee. I just want something that can do 3D AutoCad that is not over $700-$800. Anyone has suggestions on good laptops that you used that are not too expensive? Can you share the model? Thank you Quote
BIGAL Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Go a I7 and look for say a NVIDIA graphics card, maybe look at a AMD offering. We at one stage had to replace computers when we did a Acad upgrade as the inbuilt Intel graphics was a problem. 1 Quote
Emboss 2014 Posted July 2 Author Posted July 2 Ok. I will do more research on this. So sounds like you are not recommending Intel graphics cards Quote

BIGAL Posted July 2 Posted July 2 My laptop is like 3 years old now it has a Nvidia Geoforce GTX, newer laptops will have more power. Others may comment about the AMD offering has good write ups. Quote
