Hi, to view only the affected area of an xref, the XCLIP command is available.
In a file that loads a very large xref (floor plan of a factory) I would like to create multiple XCLIP windows on the same XREF, is it possible?
Don't ask me why, but the floor plan must be created on the model space, using layouts the problem would be immediately solved...Very old people dictate the rules.
Greetings

See this page. I haven't tried their strategy, but you should be able to copy your clip area and redefine it. Don't rename your xref and re-insert, you'll overload your system.
