Found: a workaround for pipe profile labels with no style

This is a known bug, I believe. You set the default label style for profile pipes. When you draw them, though, there are no labels. For some reason, the default label doesn't change from "none." The labels are there, you just can't see them.

Today I found a way around this bug, sort of. Draw your first label. Use Quick Select to make the jigs visible: "Pipe Profile Label" will be the last item on your list, since you just drew the first one. Now you can see the jigs, even though you can't see the label. Pull the label jig away from the pipe. You'll get a leader with no text.

It doesn't seem very helpful, but it does give you one semi-visible label. It also tells your co-workers that there's something there.

Now you can finish your pipe network and add the pipe labels. When you're through, select the visible leader and use Select Similar. You will have all the labels selected, so you can change the style to whatever you need. And they'll be visible.
