No it didn't work for the .txt file. That is where I was getting the error.

Command: pts

Get Point from File or Text? : (it lets me select my .txt file here)

Invalid point.

Error: FUNCTION CANCELLED Specify a point: (it lets me pick one point on the screen here)

~

And that's it.

Hmmm... sounds like the points are incorrectly specified in the file, as I just tried the posted routine on my machine (running '04), and there was no error.

 

I specified my points like this:

 

x,y,z or just x,y
