SLW210 Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 BIGAL, FS = Fast Select OP, What exactly are you trying to do? Quote
fuccaro Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 No, that isn't a typo. Starting a command name with a star will cause the command to repeat. That macro should work. Maybe you just used it in a wrong way? Working in AutoCAD, you can first select some objects and after that select a command, meaning what do you wish to do with those selected objects. For simplicity, let's say that you wish to start the Move command. There are many ways to make a selection set, using FS is one of them. To use the FS command like that, start the macro you wrote. Select a "touching object", select an other "touching object" (because the FS repeats itself), and again... until the selection is complete. At that point, having objects selected, click the icon for the Move command. It first stops any other running command (that's the role of the ^C^C at the beginning). So that will stop the macro, -but those objects will remain selected- and the Move command will be started. Because already are objects selected, there will be no "select objects" prompt. Probable the "noun/verb selection" must be enabled, you should right-click in the command line, go to Options, than Select tab and Selection modes to verify that. Quote
