snoww Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hello, i need to make 3d view of needle grease coupler. I drew a sketch in 2d and tried to revolve it to make it 3d, but it has holes in 3d shape. I want to ask how to plug the holes. Both 2d and 3d files im attaching. Thanks for your help.bandymas 3d.dwg Drawing2.dwg Quote
Cad64 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 In order to Revolve, all you need is half the polyline profile and then Revolve it around the centerline. See the image below and the attached CAD file. bandymas 3d-2.dwg Quote
snoww Posted March 4 Author Posted March 4 Hello, thank you for your help. I wanted to ask how did you convert the wireframe to solid object, because when i try to convert to solid, i get an error Quote
ReMark Posted March 4 Posted March 4 You might have had a gap between supposedly connected lines which would lead to an error when you try to revolve the profile. Quote
