I can never see the "simple" answer Nice one Dave, Lee You're not the only one who does it though. I can forgive you as your main reason for being here (appears to be) is to learn LISP and you have done this very quickly. It does annoy me when people who purport to be efficient in AutoCAD cannot see the simple solution and immediately request a LISP for it. I still run some of my early LISPs only to realise their function is now integral to AutoCAD so I am not imune either. Quote

CAB Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 OK, Block or Insert???????? Lee's routine modifies the INSERT & not the BLOCK definition. I would assume that you do have permission to edit the INSERT, else there is no other way to change the scale. If you edit the BLOCK definition then any time the block is restored from the external file any changes would be lost. While changing the INSERT scale would not. My choice is to scale the INSERT.
