ed.espina Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I am using Autocad LT 2007 and I am running lisp routines from Autocad 2000. I am also using the Toolkit Max 2007 which I read was the link to make the lisp routines run in LT. The problem is, everytime I load the lisp routines, LT doesn't recognize the 'lay_mak' command which I do not encounter in Autocad 2000. Is there any run-around to this problem without re-programming the lisp? Is there any other tool that can translate lisp routines for LT? I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you in advance. Quote
ReMark Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 You may have to rewrite the lisp routine. However, in the meantime, maybe you can post the code and someone can take a look at it. I am not aware of any other program purporting to add Lisp capability to AutoCAD LT other than the one you are currently using. Quote
ReMark Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Just poking around on the Internet I did run across the names of two other programs that claim to add the ability to run Lisp routines in AutoCAD LT. They were LT-Booster (AutoCAD LT 2000-2005) and LT-Extender (AutoCAD LT 2000, 2000i and 2002). I have no idea if they work or not. Buyer/user beware. Quote
kpblc Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I used with LT Extender on AutoCAD LT 2005 and 2009. I can say only one thing: it works (quality of this work is a big question - some lisps should be rewritten, but in many cases they are works correctly). Quote

Thank you for the reply ReMark, I'll ask for permission first if I can post the routine on a public forum. Anyway, I've also encountered the LT-Booster & LT-Extender but unfortunately, the manufacturer of the program had ceased its distribution due to infringement issues (they have the announcement on their website)...Sad, I won't be able to test it on LT.... ReMark Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 If you are the author of the routine then posting it is fine. If you are not the author I think you can still post it but you must give credit where credit is due and post the author's name. Looks like you will have to continue using the Toolkit then. Quote
