Aftertouch Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Hi all, i want to force some of the settingings of the 'MAPOPTIONS" from AutoCAD-MAP-3D via LISP. But i cannot find where the settings are stored in the registers. Does somebody know the location of the 'Show Task Pane on startup' checkbox? Quote
mhupp Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Don't use Map 3 so cant say for sure but its looking like you want to save the workspace. Quote In AutoCAD Map 3D, you can configure the Task Pane to be displayed automatically when you start the program by adjusting the workspace settings. The Task Pane typically contains various tools, such as the Tool Palettes and other information panels. Follow these steps to set up AutoCAD Map 3D to display the Task Pane on startup: Go to the "View" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. In the "Windows" panel, check the box next to "Task Pane" to enable it. This action will display the Task Pane on the screen. Now, to ensure that the Task Pane is displayed every time you start AutoCAD Map 3D, you'll need to save your workspace settings. Go to the "Manage" tab in the ribbon. In the "Customization" panel, click on "Edit Aliases" (or type CUI in the command line and press Enter). In the Customize User Interface window, navigate to the "Workspaces" section on the left-hand side. Select the workspace you are using (for example, "Drafting & Annotation" or "3D Basics"). In the right-hand pane, under "Customization In <Your Workspace Name>", find the "Task Pane" option. Ensure that the "Initial State" is set to "Show". Once you've set it to "Show", click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the Customize User Interface window to save the changes. Close the Customize User Interface window. Now, whenever you start AutoCAD Map 3D and load your selected workspace, the Task Pane should automatically appear as part of the workspace layout. Remember that these steps might slightly vary depending on the version of AutoCAD Map 3D you are using. If you don't find the exact options mentioned here, look for similar settings related to workspaces and panel visibility within your version of the software. Quote
