muckmail Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 What is wrong with these AutoCAD cross hairs? I usually do 2D drafting but my AutoCAD cross hairs does not seem right. See below. Something does not seem right. Thank you, Quote
CyberAngel Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 That usually happens when the current UCS is not the World Coordinate System. It's showing you the X/Y axes as they might appear from your current viewpoint. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 As CyberAngel mentioned, your view has been rotated. This can happen if you hold down the Shift key while also holding down the middle mouse button to Pan. This is very useful for working in 3D, but not so good if you do it accidentally when working in 2D. To fix this issue, simply type PLAN at the command prompt and then W for World. This will set your view back to Plan orientation and your cross hairs will appear normal again. Quote
