Giovannino60
How do you cancel the inside of this writing, made with the screen? Thank you Stop.dwg
Steven P
Hatchedit and use 'add selected boundary' option selecting the part you want to remove Or recreate the hatch and select both lines, CAD will create the hatch from the outside line and create islands with anything inside that
Giovannino60
I don't understand the buttons I have to click, to do the procedure, can you send me a screen shot? Thank you
Steven P
If you type the command 'hatchedit' into the command line, it will give you prompts to select the hatch to edit. There will then be a popup box, a button on the right side will be 'Add Selected Boundary' - click that and select the internal lines, hit enter, and follow the prompts. This is the autoDesk help for the command https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2020/ENU/AutoCAD-Core/files/GUID-B2F5A812-81A8-48C2-83E1-C21708732CD5-htm.html
Giovannino60
Do you mean this screen? In this case, what is the button I have to click, it's not clear from the translation? Thank you
Steven P
It is this one below, Command is hatchedit - you can use the English command by putting in a _ before the command ( _hatchedit ) and that should bring up the correct box - regardless of translations Select the hatch 'Add Selected Objects' - should be in the same place

Giovannino60
I tried that command but it doesn't remove the center of the words, doesn't it change anything?.
ColinPearson
Click that little > arrow at the bottom right of the hatch dialog box. Check Island Detection and Normal. Then pick "ADD: Select Objects" under Boundaries and select all the geometry of each the letter(s) you want to Hatch.
