Getting an object and passing object details to excel is well documented lots of examples and yes I have posted a lot here. The issue is not writing to excel but all the customisation that is needed to match your dwg, stuff like layers. How do you identify a bar that is a straight v's a hook bar ? Plus what dia ? So lots of info required, often needs you to change the way you draft. Did you google about complete packages that draw the bars and do schedules. Look in Autodesk App store. You have to wonder at this point, if it's actually something he did, or something he purchased. Seems odd to show all that the code does on YouTube and not offer to even sell or share the code. Quote
