3dwannab Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 See attached the block where we use mm as our units. I would like the Y postion of the block to be in meters. The conversion field is greyed out. Is it possible to do this? Attached a sample drawing also. Y Value to convert to meters.dwg Quote
3dwannab Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Sort of a solution found found below but if I do an attsync name * all the value is lost. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/field-conversion-factor-not-working/m-p/5189239#M282561 Edited December 14, 2022 by 3dwannab Quote
3dwannab Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Fixed. I drew a circle inside the block on a no plot layer and used the center prop and the Y and used the formula as per above. See attached. Y Value to convert to meters FIXED.dwg Edited December 14, 2022 by 3dwannab Quote
Draughter83 Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Was there ever an answer to this? I set the conversion factor for one cell in my table and it worked as desired. Now the conversion factor is greyed out for all additional cells. I cannot copy and paste the cells as when I go to update the field to the block whose centre I would like the x and y positions from the cell updates and loses the conversion factor and the co-ordinate is shown to the wrong decimal places. I have also tried creating a new table in a new drawing sheet, run an audit and a restart. I am all out of ideas, but believe this to be a bug of some sort. Quote
3dwannab Posted October 12, 2023 Author Posted October 12, 2023 @Draughter83this seems an entirely different problem. You might want to create a new thread. Quote
