cannot select viewcube

Hi, I am experiencing a problem with the viewcube I cannot select view its off. also I think its wierd that the zoom, orbit, pan, rewind tool is disabled and cannot be closed any idea what this could be because its holding my progress off

I exited the program and started it again and it fixed this bug
