samifox Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Hi we all know what wblock does and how to use it. but i wonder how it works behind the scene? it seems like it restores the original stracture and export it to a new file. by wblocking a drawing: new file can be reducede up to 98% in file size new file doesnt need to be purged no errors on the new file THanks S Quote
CyberAngel Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Wblock puts whatever you give it in a new drawing. That's all. It's not like doing a SaveAs because it builds the new file from scratch. All the features you mention are because the garbage in the old drawing doesn't get written to the new drawing. 1 1 Quote
BIGAL Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Handy with CIV3D dwg's say "No" to "Include map" and dwgs become plain Autocad and way smaller. Quote
