PJ01
When I press the Layout1 Tab, I find the page has a background grid, which I find quite annoying. Can anyone please advise how to remove this grid on all my drawings in Layout view? Using AutoCAD 2022 regards to all, PJ
SLW210
Is the GRIDMODE (F7) on?
PJ01
No , the GRIDMODE is not on. When I switch it on, the grid from the MODEL mode is overlaid on the LAYOUT view. The two grids are on different scales, and the result looks terrible Edited November 7, 2022 by PJ01
SLW210
Can you post the drawing?
PJ01
I don't know what happened, but the F7 key now works, and the grid is removed on both Layout1 and Layout2 views. Weird !!
HGJW
Further to this, check your border template. I had grid dots showing in paper space with GRID set to off and a second set would show when I turned in on. My border template is a block and when I went into block editor GRID was set to on. When I set it to off, saved and went back to my drawing the extra set of dots (grid) was gone. Hope this helps as I have come across this before and just ignored it.
