When I press the Layout1 Tab, I  find the page has a background grid, which I  find quite annoying.
Can anyone please advise how to remove this grid on all my drawings in Layout view?

Using AutoCAD 2022

No , the GRIDMODE is not on. When I  switch it on, the grid from the MODEL mode is overlaid on the LAYOUT view. The two grids are on different scales, and the result looks terrible

I don't know what happened, but the F7 key now works, and the grid is removed on both Layout1 and Layout2 views. Weird !!

Further to this, check your border template. I had grid dots showing in paper space with GRID set to off and a second set would show when I turned in on.

My border template is a block and when I went into block editor GRID was set to on. When I set it to off, saved and went back to my drawing the extra set of dots (grid) was gone.

Hope this helps as I have come across this before and just ignored it.
