Same Bad Layer In Multiple Uniquely Named Blocks

I have a file with multiple uniquely named blocks containing the same layer that has a forced color. I want to change that same layer with forced colors into it's own ByLayer.

 

Is there a way to do this without having to chase after the same bad layer in each of the various blocks?

Try using the LAYTRANS command.

If laytrans doesn't work, open the block in the block editor and change the offending items to bylayer and save when closing the editor.

All the blocks should update..

You only have to edit one instance.

 

If there are different blocks you have to repeat the process for each different instance of that unique block..
