Giovannino60 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 I can't put the x, y axes on the origin of the drawing. I click on the axes but I can't move the axes, with the mouse I move the axes but then they come back. I wrote UCS on the command line, clicked enter, take the axes with the mouse and put them on the drawing but then they return to the bottom left. What can I do? Thank you Quote
CyberAngel Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Use the UCSICON command with the ORigin option. Your icon will appear at the origin, unless the origin is not visible. Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 1, 2022 Author Posted September 1, 2022 I have not understood. Do you intend to click on the move command, that of the attached icon? Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 1, 2022 Author Posted September 1, 2022 If I move the drawing to the origin of the axes that I see at the bottom left, if I then zoom in on the drawing, do you not see the axes? Quote
CyberAngel Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 The UCS icon is there as an indicator. It's not really part of the drawing. If you want it to appear at the actual 0,0 point, type UCSICON at the command prompt and press Enter. One of the options is ORigin. Type OR and press Enter. From then on, as long as the 0,0 point is visible, the icon will appear there. But it's not part of the drawing, it's part of the interface. The MOVE command is not involved. Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 1, 2022 Author Posted September 1, 2022 I move the axes to the bottom left of my drawing, I don't understand how you explained it to me? Thank you Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 1, 2022 Author Posted September 1, 2022 I carry it with the mouse on my drawing but it does not stop, with the mouse and with the keyboard sending, it returns to the bottom left? Quote
steven-g Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Use the ucsicon command and choose the option "selectable" it can be turned off so make sure it is on. Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 (edited) I don't understand, I am attaching the images, what should I do? If I put 0 the Cartesian axes disappear... Thank you Edited September 2, 2022 by Giovannino60 Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 I solved, it was enough to put UCSICON = 3, instead I had 1. Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 I probably moved the axes to an edge of the drawing, see attached image, but it is not yet what I have to do to correctly bring the plant in a software for modeling the energy certification, as the software tells me that I have not modeled the file on the absolute origin 0 of the drawing, how can I do? Thank you Quote
Giovannino60 Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 I also tried to do this, but it's not good. To post the drawing in 0.0.0, I selected it> move> #> 0> 0, but the value in the cell takes zero but clicking enter again returns a series of numbers as at the beginning and the drawing does not move. lrm Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 I think what your goal is to set the WORLD UCS to a specific point in your drawing. When you see the icon below it signifies the location of the custom UCS (not world) at its 0,0,0 location. If the custom UCS is not within the current view then it is shown in the lower left corner and not at its origin. If the WORLD UCS is active the UCS icon will include a box. If you want to modify the location of the WORLD UCS to a specific location (e.g., the center of the top arc) make sure the WORLD UCS is active (UCS [Enter][Enter]) then give the MOVE command followed by ALL (to select all) [Enter] click on the point where you want the origin (OSNAP CEN in this example) and then enter 0,0,0. Giovannino60 Posted September 3, 2022 Author Posted September 3, 2022 I solved it in much the same way you advised me. 1) I selected all the drawing 2) I clicked on the move command (the icon with the cross) 3) I clicked # 4) I clicked 0,0 5) enter Quote
