3rdElle Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 I need a quick course on this for a position I am applying for. I typically don't like to cut corners specially when it comes to standards, but time is super sensitive. Are there any articles, blogs, etc. that will provide a quick and concise understanding? Quote
Dadgad Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) No shortage of links to browse... Which I guess is the PROBLEM. https://www.nationalcadstandard.org/ This YouTube video is almost an hour long, looks like the place to start to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-DrHhWROxU Good luck with it. ReMark Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Standards will depend on the country you live in, the discipline you are working in, and the company you are working for. 1 Quote
tombu Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Most information for previous versions are available for free and Civil 3D template drawings include them. https://www.nationalcadstandard.org/ncs5/content.php click on guidelines under AIA CAD LAYER GUIDELINES and explore the other links like guidelines under PLOTTING GUIDELINES for lineweights. Should be helpful as a quick course on this for the position you're applying for. Quote
