National CAD Standards

Recommended Posts

I need a quick course on this for a position I am applying for.

I typically don't like to cut corners specially when it comes to standards, but time is super sensitive.

Are there any articles, blogs, etc. that will provide a quick and concise understanding?

This YouTube video is almost an hour long, looks like the place to start to me.

Most information for previous versions are available for free and Civil 3D template drawings include them.

https://www.nationalcadstandard.org/ncs5/content.php click on guidelines under AIA CAD LAYER GUIDELINES

and explore the other links like guidelines under PLOTTING GUIDELINES for lineweights.

Should be helpful as a quick course on this for the position you're applying for.
