ReMark Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I am looking for confirmation regarding the above topic. I recently sent a drawing, created with nanoCAD, to someone using AutoCAD 2022. They tried to save the drawing but claim AutoCAD 2022 refused to comply. nanoCAD does read/write to the .DWG file format so I find the fact they could not save the drawing surprising. Quote
steven-g Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I have never heard of any problems like that. Post the drawing or send it privately if it's confidential and I can take a look or someone else could if you can post it. Quote
BIGAL Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Maybe use saveas ? Part 2 maybe set the save version 2013 2018 etc. Did it Have proxy objects ? The clones pride them selves on matching dwg so very strange, if they could open does not make sense that they could not save. Quote
steven-g Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 The dwg saved without problem. So the problem looks to be on the third party's end. 1 Quote
ReMark Posted July 28, 2022 Author Posted July 28, 2022 Thank you for the information, Steven-g. It is just as I thought. Quote
