All of the possible directories for storing temporary files either do not exist or are readonly. Please correct this situation before running AutoCAD again.

I had the same issue. Turned out to be when running PDFIMPORT I did not disable Raster Images. 2023 has a serious problem with PDFIMPORT using Raster Images. When I leave this box unchecked, all works well.

My directories existed and were NOT read only...

It would chew on a file for an unbelieveable amount of time,

import the file on screen and crash with the message

 

 

It imported the file in question within seconds after unchecking the box!
