my pickbox becomes a ghost or phantom

 

Hi , I do not know why or when but my pick box becomes as shown , 

Which system variable control it ?

I don't know if I understand the meaning well.

PICKBOX is activated only when PICK is performed.

It is not visible when making adjustments and window selections.

 

or There may be a syntax in your Lisp that sets the PICKBOX variable to 0.

The PICKBOX variable has a value between 0 and 50, and usually 5 is sufficient.

 

or The background color looks like a block editor.

In OPTIONS, you can specify the color of the crosshairs inside the block editor separately.

 

or if it is Unstable problem

by GRAPHICSCONFIG, and 3DCONFIG command 

you can off HW accelerations. some cases it works

Possibly something has changed in your OPTIONS

on the DISPLAY tab

Click on COLORS

Pickbox and Aperture maybe both, they are sizes like 4k screen pickbox maybe 7. Il like to be able to see my pickbox 5.

this is another story 

APERTURE variable is useful in ZWCAD. because it has weird aperture snap range for user who uses AUTOCAD before.

so i add that code in my startup lisp

And at the last right label  "PROFILES" you can save your setting , and as many setting as you want to . the file has ARG extension 

so you can set as desired.

You now have a logfile.log its saved here. I have mine set to a TEMP directory easier to get at.

 

Ok change 1 variable only.

Do all the steps above again, you now have 2 Log files and can compare.

 

In Notepad++ is a compare option makes it much easier. If you dont have Notepad++ open 2 Notepad files and scroll. I think I had to add it to Notepad++ it was in plugin options.

No worries I have used it a few times but its not 100% perfect, some names may mislead you.
