I've posed something similar in other forums and I'm not so sure it can be done, but I haven't been able to find a lot of information on it. I'd be open to any workarounds, plug-ins, etc... Does anyone have a solution to be able to incorporate stacked fractions into Fields and/or Attributes? I know I can stack text in mline attributes, but I can only stack text, not fields or "smart" information. I don't know if this is even possible with with fields. For example: Take a pline and I want to add text showing various information from said pline. I start the mtext command --> right-click --> insert field --> object --> select pline --> select length property --> format fractional --> click OK. This results in the field being populated with the length of the pline, but the fractions are not stacked. Our office uses 70% center positioned diagonal fractions (stack properties dialog) for all our documents. I'd like to start implementing some automated tasks using dynamic blocks, attributes, and fields for some of our most common items, but this fractional thing seems to be the one thing holding me back. These items that we would apply this formatting to would have various sizes or settings dependent on conditions, so its important that they will update appropriately. Apparently, you can only stack things in multiline text, which means you can't do it in fields. Thanks for the reply CyberAngel. That is what I thought. I've seen that post a few times in my travels, but was hoping to see if anyone found a workaround.
