Menu file in AutoCAD LT

Recommended Posts

In AutoCAD you can insert objects from another drawing, using a pull down menu.

There is an MNU file in the same folder as the drawings. I load using CUILOAD and select "MNU" file (TEST.MNU).

It used to insert using AutoCAD but doesn't work using AutoCAD LT.

Why is this the case?

TEST.mnu

Simple fix, count your -> and <- must match.

OK thanks, this worked I think.

It doesn't work if object is a dynamic block though.

The block name is the same as the file name.

OK sorry, I think it works if the file name is different to the block name.

Also, would there be a way to explode block once inserted?

If you look at this [CTONE(CHAIR-1)]^c^cINSERT ca3ch-1 DRAG \1;;DRAG it has the pick point and rotate, there is no reason why explode can not be added also just explode and use last.

Just look at full sequence doing it manually so work out where ; is needed.
