Hello, 

I need a LISP which allows me to connect the closest endpoint of polylines in order to close shape. 

_pedit->join with fuzz distance doesn't work. I also can't join them via additional line.

Just use the MPEDIT (Express Tool) Join option with a Fuzz distance of 0.0001mm.

They must be at the same elevation and coordinate system though.

 

I'd probably use the FILLET (Command) if there's not to many of them.

Thanks for tip, however MPEDIT is not a good solution in my case. This function join both endlines by additional line - see picture in attachement. 

 

Becouse I use these drawings in CNC laser, that kind of "shapes" where i have 0.00001mm line, affects very bad on machine works. Machine tries to change direction on distance 0.0001mm and servo motor starts go crazy. 

 

I need solution, which allows me to connect both endpoint to one smooth line.

How about use OVERKILL command? 

set the offset value over 0.00001,

then check polyline optimize option.

 

but it may change original polyline for merging

I received a drawing with the same sort of offset lines, and decided that it was better sorted by manually moving one line to join with the next. A pain to do, but got a better drawing in the end.

Do you have an actual drawing file you can post?

 

This isn't the exact same request as the OP, little details like that are important.

 

Are the tiny pline segments separated from the rest of the line or are they joined?
