Can't Create Views in Model

I have a model from an architect, I have downloaded it and all the linked models (I will only be pulling information, not working with the model itself) to my location. Taken the central model, made it a NEW central in its new location, and am working with that. Now, I have a new FP I created, no view filters applied, and I'm trying to create a section. I click the section button, click my first point, and it sits there and hourglasses FOREVER and says it's "processing graphics". Eventually, I get to click the second point, and I hear the error message chime, and nothing is created. I don't get any error message, and it's not just hidden, I mean nothing is created. I have NO idea what I'm doing wrong. I've checked everything I know. FWIW, Elevations do the exact same thing. 

 

Please help. I need to get my views pulled so I can work on this project!

Ok, I'm updating this... I found a bunch of linked CAD files that were mapping to somewhere completely random and wrong. So I deleted those. No more "processing graphics" errors, and I found where it's randomly dumping my new sections. 

 

HOWEVER, I can not for the life of me get the section tags to show up in the view. I've checked Visibility, filters, view range, EVERYTHING I know how to check, and nothing. And there are other sections in the view, so I know what I'm asking isn't impossible.
