Align points

Hi,

I have a lisp routine which aligns a point to a alignment in civils3d. The aligned point is perpendicular to the alignment but I need the rotation of the point to be parallel to the alignment. Is there a way the lisp routine could be written to rotate the cogopoints parallel to the alignment?
