aridzv Posted April 12, 2021 Author Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) @Trudy see the attached screen shots. after launching the command: 1. set the offset dist and press ENTER. (the problem here is that if you press ENTER with out give a value the lisp crash...) 2.with the left click pressed drag the mouse over the contours you want to label. 3. when done let go of the left click and press enter again to exit the lisp,or press and hold the left click to draw more labels in another direction. Trudy Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 I try on civil 2012 and cant do nothing. I will try later again but for now dont work. Quote
aridzv Posted April 12, 2021 Author Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) @Trudy O.K. - I know what is the issue: 1.the contours MUST be in layer "Contour Major" Or "Contour Minor". you should create those layers and move the contours to them. 2. the contours MUST be LWPOLYLINE, not 3d poly or 2d poly (not x,y,z - but x,y and ELEVATION) *About the layers issue - I don't know how to cancel this condition, maybe you will be able to help here to... BIGAL Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 That is a CIV3D function for labelling contours. Drag a line. Quote

BIGAL Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 (edited) Contour labelling is built in to CIV3D and you can draw a line and that is where the contour labelling will appear same as you wanted. The obvious if you use a civil package you get so much more than contours. Edited April 13, 2021 by BIGAL Quote
aridzv Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) @BIGAL Yes,when I saw this LSP I said "it's exactly like in c3d"... I worked for a short time with c3d and I barely scratched the surface of its capabilities, but unfortunately the cost was way over me, So bricscad Pro (with LSP's,excel & VBA and some QGIS workarounds...) it is. BIGAL Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 Have a look at Civil Site Design works with Bricscad, Home - Civil Site Design and has so much more if you want survey side only then Stringer, Stringer Survey - Land Surveying Software Quote

Ari. *Edit: see the new LSP - I've enabled the offset dist. editing. Contour_Label.lsp Edited April 16, 2021 by aridzv Quote
