@Tharwat Yup .. but I think it will work either way. Since we're sorting by distance within the loop removing the first then second sorted item is simpler IMO. 

 

Although if you have an outlier without a close matching pair this method will probably bork

Yes I agree, but now with your different 'posted' approach and the mods you did over my codes the OP or any reviewer of this thread would think that yours is the correct one and mine has some issues.

Your code works fine and my intention was not to belittle your effort, sorry if you feel this way. I think the the OP is already using your code as a solution. My offering was just an alternative to learn from ( or not ).
